Lay the stone once, reap the rewards for ages. Mehow celebrated the groundbreaking ceremony for its Phase III factory building in Penang, Malaysia, in early June 2024. The event was attended by Mr. Yuan, Vice Chairman of Mehow Medical; Dato' Wong Ho Loong of KKEK; and senior management representatives from both organizations.
The ceremony commenced with an official announcement by the host, marking the launch of Mehow's Phase III expansion. In a time-honored ceremony, dignitaries lifted gold-plated shovels to turn the first sod, embedding the foundation stone—an enduring symbol of the project's significance—into Malaysian soil.
This pivotal act signified the official commencement of construction, transitioning the project into its active development phase. With this, the groundbreaking ceremony concluded as a resounding success.
The new Phase III facility is strategically located in Bukit Minyak Industrial Park, Simpang Ampat, Penang. This prime location leverages Malaysia's robust multimodal transport network - integrating land, sea and air logistics - to strengthen Mehow's global supply chain capabilities and enhance international market competitiveness.
