IntraCardiac Cchocardiography (ICE)
ICE used to provide real-time, high-resolution cardiac imaging from inside of the heart chambers. It consists of a flexible catheter with an integrated ultrasound transducer at its distal tip, typically inserted through a vein (such as the femoral or jugular vein) and advanced into the cardiac chamber.
intravascular ultrasound (IVUS)
IVUS is an interventional imaging device that generates real-time high-definition images of blood vessel interiors through intravascular operation. It enables clear visualization of vascular wall structures and plaque characteristics, providing critical data for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
Stent delivery system
An ultrasound-compatible interventional device composed of polymer tubing (e.g., polyurethane or PEBAX) with distal laser-coated/radiopaque markers. Typically inserted via arteries/veins and navigated through complex vascular branches for precise delivery of therapeutics, embolic agents, or guidewire access through tortuous lesions. Compatible with neurointerventional and peripheral vascular procedures requiring ultra-fine maneuverability.
